Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish.

Today's topic is - Top Ten Books on my Fall Spring 2013 TBR list. It can be either books you're planning to read or Fall Spring releases you're excited about. It's Spring in Australia ;)
I normally don't stick to TBR lists. I read according to my mood so this will probably change and some won't get read and others will but at the moment this is what I want to read.

3. 3:59 by Gretchen McNeil - I've been waiting for this one to be released for a while.

4. The 100 by Kass Morgan - I love these types of stories so I'm really looking forward to getting my hands on this one.

5. Allegiant by Veronica Roth - I loved both Divergent and Insurgent so of course I want to know what happens with this one!!

Top Ten Most Intimidating Books

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish.

Today's topic is - Top Ten Most Intimidating Books

Not really intimidating, I'm not intimidated by books, but more apprehension.

In no particular order:

The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas
War and Peace by Leo Tolstoy
Notre-Dame of Paris by Victor Hugo
Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy
The Time Traveler's Wife by Audrey Niffenegger
Under The Dome by Stephen King
The Complete Novels of Jane Austen by Jane Austen

There isn't a single particular reason as to why I delay reading these (with the exception of Jane Austen). I think it is a combination of their size and spending such a huge amount of time reading one book, plus I'd hate to get half way and be bored of them.
I have Jane Austen's books all in a complete volume. I'm worried about reading any of her works as when I read Pride and Prejudice in high school I found it so boring. I know - why did I buy the complete volume then! - well, I wanted to try again, but I'm worried I'm still going to hate it, so I haven't tried.

A Game of Thrones by George R. R. Martin
The Vampire Academy Series by Richelle Mead
The Mortal Instruments by Cassandra Clare

I want to read these so much. I have the first 6 books for A Song of Fire and Ice which are all (well) over 500 pages. That's a LOT of reading!
I also have the complete Vampire Academy series and the first 3 books in The Mortal Instruments. As there are so many to read through to "catch up" with the series, its a little off putting. :(

That's my Top Ten. Leave a comment (and link to your post!) with your answer to this weeks top ten. =)

Top Ten Books At The Top Of My Summer TBR List

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish.

Today's topic is - Top Ten Books At The Top Of My Summer TBR List

Firstly, it's winter here and I only have a month break from uni so I don't have a huge amount of time to read.
Also, I'm not very good at keeping to lists. I'm more of a mood reader, so while I would like to read all of these, there is a chance I won't read some of them simply because I wasn't in the mood.

Wedding Night by Sophie Kinsella
Tumble and Fall by Alexandra Coutts
Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi
Silver Linings Playbook by Matthew Quick
Looking for Alaska by John Green

Fragments by Dan Wells
Prodigy by Marie Lu
Riptide by Lindsey Scheibe
Blackout by Robison Wells

That's my Top Ten for the week. I look forward to seeing what all your choices are so don't forget to leave a comment and link to your Top Ten. =)

Top Ten Favorite Book Covers Of Books I've Read

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish.

Today's topic is - Top Ten Favorite Book Covers Of Books I've Read

 1. Scarlet by Marissa Meyer - I have only put the Scarlet cover here but I actually love both covers - Scarlet and Cinder. They are fairly simple covers but really effective and suit the story. Not only do I love the covers but I adore the series too. =)

2. Flawed by Kate Avelynn - I really like this cover, and it somehow fits the story. Probably not a topic for everyone though (incest).

3. Crewel by Gennifer Albin - This cover is goregous. I love the use of colours. Shame I didn't love the story as much.

4. What's Left Of Me - I love how there are two faces in one. It matches the story so well.

 5. The Archived by Victoria Schwab - Another cover that is really pretty and suits the story.

6. Skylark by Megan Spooner - I think I actually bought this book for the cover alone. Thankfully I loved the story too. I like the colour and the swirly pattern around the border.

7. Falling Kingdoms by Morgan Rhodes -  The kick-ass assassin cover! I wish this person on the cover was in the story though!

8. The Darkest Minds by Alexandra Bracken - The molten metal and barb wire on this not only goes with the story, but I think looks really cool. I actually don't like the other design (Australian verison) at all. I'm happy to own this cover instead. =)

9. The Lost Prince by Julie Kagawa - I like all the Iron Fey covers but I like this one best. The colour and design look awesome.

10. Warm Bodies by Isaac Marion - This is such a simple cover but I really like it.

That's my Top Ten for the week. I look forward to seeing what all your choices are so don't forget to leave a comment and link to your Top Ten. =)

Top Ten Words/Topics That Instantly Make Me Buy/Pick Up A Book

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish.

Today's topic is - Top Ten Words/Topics That Instantly Make Me Buy/Pick Up A Book

This is a little hard, as it's normally the cover of a book that grabs my attention and makes me pick up a book first. However, these are topics I love to read about.

Dystopian - I love dystopian books. Even though there seems to be a common theme with them I haven't read one that I hate.

Realistic/True Stories - I love true stories, or stories based around realistic events.

Horror - I have always loved horror stories. I like reading things that give me the creeps.

Robots/Cyborgs/Reanimation of humans - Anything along those lines and similar sci fi type books I find really interesting.

Fairytales & Retellings - I have only read a few and those I've read, I've really enjoyed.

Contemporary - I have recently taken to contemporary books and have been loving them.

Virus/Parasite - Human population succumbing to a virus; viruses that change people into killing machines; parasites controlling humans, any and all of that variety. I'm intrigued.

Paranormal - including, but not limited too vampires, zombies, aliens etc. because they are interesting.

Humour - Who doesn't like to laugh, and with all the horrible type topics I normally read, this can be a nice change.

Survival - I like anything where the characters are fighting for survival.

Most of these overlap each other in books which is fine by me. =) I'm sure I've missed something.

Edit: I missed a big one that I love - Parallel universes! I remembered when I visited Jamie's post at The Perpetual Page Turner.

That's my Top Ten for the week. I look forward to seeing what all your choices are so don't forget to leave a comment and link to your Top Ten. =)
